Maruti Suzuki will launch its first electric vehicle EV, the e Vitara on September 3, 2025. This is an electric SUV that will be available in two battery options 49 kWh and 61 kWh. It will have the capability to travel up to 500 kilometres on a single charge in the FWD and AWD versions. The weight could be between Rs 17 lakh and 22.5 lakh, which positions it squarely in the middle action in the electric SUV mid-size category.
Tata Sierra
The iconic Sierra will be also reintroduced in a modern form with electric and internal combustion engines. The launch of the car is likely at the end of 2025, the end of the Diwali. The Sierra EV also possesses exquisite appearance, three-screen dashboard and a 1.5-litre turbo-petrol, diesel or electric power train. It will competitively take on great sellers such as the Hyundai Creta, and Kia Seltos. Its starting prices will likely be about Rs 15 lakh and will go up to Rs 25 lakh (ex-showroom).
