One of its biggest advantages is efficiency. Thanks to its simplified design and fewer parts, scooters on this platform can be assembled 15% faster, while servicing is nearly twice as quick. Additionally, the service interval has been extended to 10,000 km, reducing maintenance costs for users.

The platform comes with an Advanced Electronic Braking System (AEBS) that minimizes rear-wheel lock and reduces stopping distance, ensuring safer rides. It also integrates an on-board charger with the motor controller, eliminating the need for a separate portable charger.

The fast charger also comes with a built-in tyre inflator, and users will be able to check its location directly via the Ather app. Another useful feature added to the app is the charge cut-off limit, which can now be set starting from 80%.

At its latest event, Ather Energy unveiled the upgraded versions of its Halo Half-Face and Full-Face smart helmets. These helmets now come with several practical updates including:

USB-C charging support
Pinlock-enabled visor for anti-fog inserts
Wear detection sensors
Emergency pull-out padding that allows quick removal during accidents

The Halo Half-Face helmet is priced at ₹2,999, while the Full-Face variant costs ₹4,999 (including GST).

Ather 450 Apex Gets ‘Infinite Cruise’ Control Feature

Ather has introduced a smart new feature in its 450 Apex electric scooter called Infinite Cruise. This cruise control system can be activated using the right-hand handlebar switch and works even at low speeds starting from 10 km/h.

The feature automatically disengages when the rider slows down or comes to a stop. Interestingly, once you accelerate again and release the throttle, the system reactivates itself at any speed—making city rides far more convenient.

The best part? This upgrade will also be available to existing 2025 Apex owners. Simply put, Infinite Cruise allows the scooter to maintain or pause speed without the rider constantly managing the throttle or pressing the cruise control button repeatedly.

Crawl Control in Ather e-Scooters

Ather has introduced advanced Smart Cruise Control, now enhanced with features like Hill Descent, Hill Ascent Control, and Crawl Control. With Hill Assist, riders can smoothly climb or descend slopes while cruise control remains active—even if the brakes or accelerator are pressed.
